What is RSS?
Not all my clients, I have learned, know what an RSS feed is or use it.
RSS (Real Simple Syndication) is a format for delivering new content to your computer. It is a dynamic bookmark. In the case of Growing Clients it will bring my posts directly to your PC or laptop.
A new post will not intrude while you are working or browsing, but will lie there waiting for you to click on the RSS icon (an orange tab with two white waves emanating from the bottom left) on your top toolbar – whenever you feel like checking if there is a new post.
I write only one post per month and it could be delivered to your “doorstep” very much like a newspaper.
Keep in touch and further the conversation between us by getting a feed to new posts on Growing Clients.
To set up this service, click on the RSS feed icon which wil activate a drop-down menu which allows you to use the feed service of your choice: Live Bookmark (Firefox), Microsoft Office Outlook, Blogline, My Yahoo or Google.
It’s that easy.
If you already have a RSS feed and would like to provide a comment aimed at improving this entry, please provide a comment.
